How the night works

Your room. Their whisky. Our crowd.

01

We bring the distiller. An Australian whisky maker or brand ambassador leads five pours over about two hours.

02

We sell the tickets. Eventbrite page, artwork, social posts and paid ads with your venue front and centre.

03

You host and get paid. Half the net ticket revenue in cash, plus every drink and plate your guests buy.

The venue provides

  • A main contact for the event, before and on the night
  • An opening order of the tasted range at wholesale, on a mixed-case intro deal
  • The space, glassware, water and bar staff
  • Food: snacks, or a food-inclusive ticket
  • Date, start time and guest capacity
  • Venue logo and photos for the ticket page
  • Promotion to your own guests and socials

The venue receives

  • 50% of net tasting-ticket revenue, paid in cash with a sales statement
  • A higher share on food-inclusive tickets
  • A ticketed crowd from the Drinks Network campaign
  • All food and drink sales on the night
  • Ticket-holder and trade attendee lists
  • Event artwork, and no ticketing admin

Stock what you pour

Hosting means becoming a home for the brand. You buy a set of the whiskies tasted on the night, so guests can keep ordering them long after the event.

Glassware hire, if needed, is usually split 50/50 between the venue and the brand side.
